History

This website began life in 2002 as the homesite of the NSW VHF Dx Group, a group which at present has no existence. However the purposes of the site extend far beyond the borders of NSW, and it is intended as an information resource and archive for all amateurs interested in weak-signal communication at VHF and UHF, with a particular emphasis on the situation in Eastern Australia.

Content

Frequencies of interest range from 144MHz to 2.4GHz; the 50MHz fraternity already have their own extensive range of resources, and the microwave enthusiasts their own personal networks. The buttons on the left give some indication of the range of information we hope to make available, either directly on this site or in the form of links to other relevant sites. This vision will take some considerable time to be realized, and we ask visitors to accept for a while that many of the buttons have no destination file yet.
