Digital EME (Moonbounce) on 144MHz

I once had an ambitious vision of writing some detailed EME pages covering a wide range of frequencies.
After 5 years this hasn't happened, so instead I plan a series of notes on particular aspects of Digital EME on 144MHz, primarily aimed at giving beginner EME stations some useful and practical information.

144MHz is probably still the easiest band to try first. Good antennas can be rather daunting, but most amateurs with a decent tropo station can already work quite a number of stations on digital EME, and there are many hundreds of stations around the world on 144MHz to try and work.
There is growing activity on the higher bands too, especially 1296MHz, and much fun to be had up there.
And then there is 50MHz, but very large antennas are needed on that band!

Here are some possible topics, in no particular order, that I will try to develop over the coming weeks and months. Please feel free to email me with suggestions or requests.
